I like to help from a strength-based place, emphasizing your strengths and shining compassion onto your own perceived weaknesses. My work is supportive and non-judgmental.

We all have our own unique lens from which we view others and ourselves. Sometimes that lens gets distorted with hurts from our past. Working through our hurts and re-framing our own story can be empowering and can make room for a richer, more rewarding life.

Whether you are in transition and need the extra support to get through a difficult time or you want to break through old patterns, I can offer you a warm presence and perspective.

I am trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), which is a technique that is useful in reframing distorted thoughts.  It can help with mood regulation and it can contribute to wellbeing.

I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is a technique used to process trauma.

All these "tools in the toolbox" are useful but even more beneficial can be just having the attention on you, listening to your story and offering non-judgmental support.
