Patricia has been working with adults, couples and families for more than 12 years. She has treated individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and substance abuse.
Her own yoga and meditation practice has assisted her in developing mindfulness in her life and work with clients.
Her work is strength-based, identifying resources and resiliency. She offers a supportive and non-judgmental presence.
She is trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT—techniques that are useful for mood regulation and distorted thoughts. She is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is a technique used to process trauma.
